In early 2016, our team conducted a situation analysis of the configuration management process for a major canadian insurance company.
We organized the project in four main stages :
The project required a little over 20 days of effort and was carried out over two and a half months. Two advisors intervened to facilitate the analysis workshops with the client' stakeholders. Through this analytical work, we were able to measure the level of maturity of the organization and evaluate what could be improved.
We took the opportunity to explain the basic concepts of the reference process. Our recommendations included an estimate of the target project to deploy the process itself, in conjunction with the ITSM Service Management Tools.
The project was a great success and we noticed a very good team ownership.
