Selection of an IT asset management strategy

During the first half of 2010, we assisted a partner in the banking sector with the definition of an IT asset management strategy.
The process, which took place over a span of two months and included the following components :
- Identification of the functional requirements of the teams responsible for the management of IT assets
- Identification of short, medium and long-term issues
- Analysis and identification of a software solution capable of meeting the teams’ needs (decision matrix)
- Identification of implementation costs
- Definition of the implementation strategy
- Validation by the company's management
A final deliverable in the form of a comprehensive documentation report was presented to the client. Throughout the project frequent analysis and follow-up meetings ensured a successful result.
