Optimization of inventory management

In spring 2016, the team assisted a major Financial and Banking Institution in Montreal in optimizing its Inventory Management Process as well as non-production computer elements (development).
We organized the project in four main phases :
- Planning
- Analysis and enhancement of Management Processes
- Analysis and recommendation for the optimization of software tools
- Analysis and enhancement of inventory data including stakeholder survey activities
The total effort of the project represented nearly 800 hours spread over 3 advisors in our team. We coordinated our team according to our Project Management Techniques. The project was successfully completed over a period of nearly 4 months.
Our main deliverables were :
- Enhanced process and procedure
- Specifications and recommendations document for Inventory Management Tools
- Inventory data upgraded delivered with a procedure allowing the organization to replicate the exercise
- Project monitoring documents
